Trade-standard performance units and nominal component sizes
This reference area brings manufacturer-published irrigation information into clear, practical formats for greenkeepers, grounds teams, designers and technicians. It sits within JK Irrigation's Technical Hub and is separate from the UK Flow Centre product shop.
UK irrigation work uses a practical mix of metric and imperial conventions. Nominal solenoid-valve sizes are normally stated in inches, pipework is commonly identified by metric outside diameter, and sprinkler performance is normally read as flow in m³/h, throw in metres and pressure in bar. Each page follows the familiar convention for its component rather than forcing every field into one unit system.

Rain Bird 752 metric nozzle chart
Metric performance data for standard Rain Bird 752 Dual Spreader nozzles at the two factory pressure-regulator settings of 4.8 and 5.5 bar. The tables include nozzle colour, radius, low-angle radius and flow in litres per second and cubic metres per hour.

Hunter I-25 standard nozzle metric chart
Standard-speed Hunter I-25 performance data covering pressure in bar, throw in metres and flow in m³/h. The manufacturer's l/min value is retained as a secondary check. High-speed data remains separate so the two configurations cannot be confused.

Hunter I-40 standard nozzle metric chart
Standard single-nozzle Hunter I-40 data from the dated LIT-470 performance card, covering six nozzles with pressure in bar, throw in metres and flow in m³/h. The manufacturer's l/min value is retained as a secondary check. High-speed and dual-opposing-nozzle data are kept separate.

Rain Bird PGA valve size and metric pressure-loss reference
Rain Bird's published pressure-loss data for 100-PGA, 150-PGA and 200-PGA valves. Nominal valve sizes remain in inches, with flow in m³/h and pressure loss in bar. Globe and angle configurations are kept separate. Blank manufacturer combinations remain clearly marked rather than being inferred.

Priority sprinkler references
The library will be developed around the sprinklers most frequently encountered across UK golf and sports turf sites. Each family will have its own page or clearly separated model tables so incompatible nozzle and pressure data are never combined.
- Rain Bird golf rotors: 752 Series and the other commonly encountered 700 and 900 Series configurations.
- Hunter I-Series: I-25 and I-40 standard-nozzle data are available, with other relevant models to follow.
- Hunter G-800 Series: G-885 opposing-nozzle data is available, with related G-800 models to follow.
- Hunter B Series: G-85B as a separate legacy reference, not merged into the G-800 data.
- Toro FLEX800 Series: FLX35 and FLX55 25° main-nozzle data is available, with low-angle and other model-specific references to follow.
- Toro INFINITY Series: INF35 and INF55 25° main-nozzle data is available. Other configurations remain separate.

Valve pages will concentrate on identification, size, operating range, flow and pressure-loss information, compatible regulation options and the practical differences between related models.

How the library is built
- Every numeric table is checked against a current or clearly dated manufacturer source.
- Units follow trade convention: valve sizes in inches, pipe outside diameter in millimetres, sprinkler throw in metres, pressure in bar and sprinkler flow in m³/h. Secondary source units are retained where they help checking.
- JK Irrigation uses its own table structure and explanatory wording rather than reproducing a manufacturer's sheet design.
- The equipment model, nozzle family, pressure and source revision are stated so unlike data is not mixed together.
- Older or superseded information is retained only where its status is made clear.
Use data in the context of the complete system
A nozzle or valve table cannot confirm whether a site has enough pressure, flow, storage or pump capacity. Actual performance also depends on spacing, elevation, pipe losses, regulation, wind, wear and the condition of the field equipment.
