Rain Bird PGA inch valve sizes with metric pressure-loss data
This reference presents Rain Bird's published metric pressure-loss data for the 100-PGA, 150-PGA and 200-PGA valves. Globe and angle configurations are shown separately because the flow path changes the loss through the valve.
The figures are a component reference. They do not replace a complete hydraulic calculation for the main, laterals, fittings, elevation, valves and operating sprinklers.
This page follows normal trade convention: the nominal solenoid-valve size remains in inches, while flow is shown in m³/h and pressure loss in bar. The l/min column is retained as a secondary check against the manufacturer data.

Operating range and field-use notes
Rain Bird's current product page gives an operating-pressure range of 1.04 to 10.4 bar and a flow range without the PRS-D option of 0.45 to 34.05 m³/h. The PRS-D option has a published flow range of 1.14 to 34.05 m³/h and regulates outlet pressure up to 6.9 bar.
The source documents use slightly different rounded minimum metric flow values. The pressure-loss table above retains Rain Bird's published metric rows rather than silently changing them to match the rounded product-page range.
Confirm the installed model, inlet route and flow-control position before using the table. Allow separately for upstream and downstream pipe losses, fittings, elevation and dynamic demand. Manufacturer limits and compatible control equipment should be checked for the exact valve and solenoid on site.
