About JK Irrigation

An irrigation contractor built for complete project delivery

JK Irrigation designs, installs, upgrades and supports irrigation and water infrastructure for golf courses, sports turf and complex sites. Golf is at the centre of the business, supported by practical experience in pumping, storage, controls, electrical work and long-term system care.

From specialist practice to structured contractor

John Kidson established the business as a sole trader in 2021. Growth in project workload, capability and the delivery team led to incorporation as JK Irrigation Ltd in 2023. The operation continued to expand through 2024, 2025 and 2026, including the launch of UK Flow Centre as its specialist stockholding, preparation and technical-support base.

Built beyond the founder

John continues to lead technical design, training, industry engagement and business direction, but JK Irrigation is not structured around one individual. Project oversight, construction, engineering, site delivery, logistics and operational support are distributed across an established team.

Charlie Osborn oversees project delivery. Dan Martin leads construction activity. Bill Finch leads logistics and operational support. Mark Allard, Danny Hudson and the wider installation team carry out practical engineering, installation and site work.

Direct delivery capability

Core installation work is completed by JK Irrigation's own team, supported by company-owned specialist plant, utility vehicles and a fleet of service vehicles. In-house electrical capability sits alongside irrigation, pumping, pipework and control-system experience. This gives the business direct control over planning, mobilisation, construction, commissioning and handover.

Experience across established systems

JK Irrigation works across Rain Bird, Hunter and Toro infrastructure. The system and delivery approach are considered in relation to the site, existing assets, water availability and operational requirements rather than a single preferred manufacturer.
