Managed water bodies within golf and estate infrastructure

Lakes and ponds may support irrigation supply, water transfer, drainage, landscape presentation and aeration. A fountain can create visible movement and support aeration, but it must be selected and controlled for the actual water body and operating objective.

Recovering existing fountain infrastructure

At West Malling Golf Club, JK Irrigation investigated a fountain fault and returned the existing equipment to operation without requiring new replacement infrastructure. The record demonstrates a diagnostic approach before replacement is proposed.

Lake investigation and algae treatment

JK Irrigation has also carried out lake-algae treatment work at Abridge Golf Club and Sherfield Oaks Golf Club. Fountain aeration, transfer pumping and algae treatment are not interchangeable. The appropriate response depends on the identified issue, water source and use, lake form, circulation, access, power and any environmental constraints.
