Phase-two greens and tees irrigation at Brampton Park
JK Irrigation delivered the second phase of irrigation renewal at Brampton Park Golf Club after another contractor had completed phase one. The work extended new irrigation across the greens and tees and combined course-wide underground installation with completely renewed pumping and water-storage infrastructure.

Underground installation across the course
The phase-two network was mole ploughed across the golf course, allowing the greens and tees irrigation to be installed with less open excavation than a fully trenched approach. Routes, existing infrastructure and day-to-day course access still had to be coordinated carefully throughout the works.
The installation formed part of a phased programme. JK Irrigation delivered phase two, including the greens and tees irrigation, pump house, break tank and dual pump set.
Resolving the suction problem
The existing arrangement had a long history of suction difficulties. The phase-two work therefore included a break tank, a new dual pump set and a purpose-built pump house so the water supply, storage and pumping could be treated as one connected system.
JK Irrigation completed the concrete works, built the pump house and installed the new pumping and break-tank arrangement.
Winter delivery and design coordination
The phase-two works were completed over approximately two months during the winter. The team worked around localised flooding and difficult ground conditions while maintaining progress across the course.
JK Irrigation worked with irrigation designer Giles Wardle to translate the agreed phase-two design into a practical site installation and connect the greens, tees, controls, pumping and water-storage work into one operating arrangement.
