Irrigation & Water Engineer – Full-Time
Adding to our existing team due to continual growth.
Location: Must be able to drive to our warehouse in Edenbridge, TN8 6HF
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 (Depending on Experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday (40-hour standard week)
Benefits: Paid Door-to-Door & Flat Rate Overtime, Pension Contributions, Use of Company Gym

The Role
We are looking for a hardworking engineer to join our team, working on the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems and water management setups.
This is a hands-on, physical job that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. You will be digging holes, working in mud, and handling tools and machinery daily. If you enjoy practical work and being outdoors, this role is for you.
Early starts are required to get ahead of traffic and to complete golf course works.
This job could suit existing pump or irrigation engineers, or someone looking to expand their skill set from a landscaping or sports turf background.
Machines You Will Work With
At JK Irrigation Ltd, we use a variety of machines to carry out our work. You would ideally be able to operate or be happy working with and around:
Mole ploughs
Excavators/Diggers
Dumpers
Telehandlers
Utility vehicles (UTVs)
Trailers
Key Responsibilities
Installation, servicing, and repair of irrigation and water systems
Diagnosing and fixing pumps, pipework, tanks, and filtration issues
Working with poly pipe, stainless steel, PVC, and fusion welding pipes
Using power tools and working at height on ladders
Basic electrical knowledge for irrigation control systems and pumps
Working with automated and manual irrigation control systems
Digging holes, working in muddy conditions, and using machinery daily
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather, including rain and cold
In-house production work—building prefab products for irrigation systems
Early starts to avoid traffic and complete golf course work
Liaising with clients and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery
Staying away from home when required for certain projects
Occasional emergency call-outs
What We’re Looking For
Technical experience in irrigation, plumbing, pumps, or water management
Basic electrical knowledge for irrigation control systems and pumps
Relevant qualifications (Sports Turf, Plumbing, Electrical, or similar) – preferred but not essential
Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
Must be able to drive to our warehouse in Edenbridge, TN8 6HF
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills for client interactions
Comfortable using timesheets, WhatsApp groups for customer updates, and providing regular updates to our office
What We Offer
Competitive salary (£30k - £50k) & flat rate overtime
Paid door-to-door
28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays), increasing by 1 extra day for each year worked
40-hour standard week, with an average of 50 hours worked
Monday to Friday work schedule (no regular weekend work!)
